Elopement in paradise…
I recently won an amazing opportunity to attend a wedding workshop in Italy at the absolutely stunning Lake Como. Not long before this, I was really thinking about how and whether I’d want to get into destination weddings and elopements, so winning a ticket to the Avanza workshop was almost like a sign that I should at least give it a try.
Me and my partner decided to turn this into a bit of a holiday and we drove all the way from Milan airport all the way around the lake, stopping at places like Como and Bellagio. Along the road trip we stopped in Varenna, which where the workshop was located, and its this amazing little town on the east coast of Lake Como.
The day of the workshop we couldn’t have asked for better weather, which honestly gave this feeling of being in paradise. The colours of the sky was just jaw dropping the whole time.
