this was one to remember

I’ve known Samantha and Ashley for some years now, back when I was just starting out in the biz and was photographing puppies at local parks. I got to meet them and their little family, but most of all Digby their miniature sausage dog!

So when they got engaged last year, Sammy got in touch with myself to book for their wedding at Sandburn Hall. You may remember me posting here on the blog and on my instagram their engagement shoot which we shot at Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen in Leeds. After seeing how fun and energetic the engagement photos came out, I just knew their wedding was going to be one to remember.

They picked Sandburn Hall specifically for just how versatile the space is. Sam & Ash had a vision for their wedding which involved a lot of colour, vinyl records and a little bit of disco. I even got the honour of seeing her wedding dress in person before the wedding, and to say I loved it was an understatement.

They hit the nail on the head with their decor, which they made mostly by hand, and got some awesome floral decor from Untamed Floral art and a cake from Miss Helens Wedding Cakes to match.

I honestly think this is one of my favourite weddigns from 2024, the mix of colours, style, a group of awesome suppliers and of course an amazing couple. Take a look at a bit of their gallery below, plus their highlight video from the day!
