Wedding under the stars

My busiest season is always from May onwards, so I absolutely love it when a couple gets in touch to say they are getting married earlier or later in the year to keep me busy but also to try out some different lighting and settings. Kye and Beth got in touch with me last year when they were recommended by another couple of mine, and told me all about their Boho inspired wedding at East Riddlesden Hall in Yorkshire. After discussing the timeline of the day, and them telling me they hired out string lights to go by the lake, I just knew we had to get some after dusk photos under the starry sky.

The day started out at this cute little Air B&B in a town close by called The Dairy. When I say little, I mean I kept banging my head on the low ceilings! But none, the less, it was so quaint and just perfect for Beths bridal party to get ready. Here I got to see the Stevie Nicks inspired dress with beautiful fringe down both the sleeves, and of course the something blue being a pair of platform Docs.

Beth & Kye got ‘officially married’ the day before, meaning that their ceremony at East Riddlesden Hall could be conducted by a close friend who absolutely smashed it. They shared their vows in front of family and friends and followed it up with photos by the lake.
